4's Preschool

Our enhanced curriculum focuses on kindergarten readiness, including academic and social skills. Children learn to identify shapes, recite the alphabet, count to 20, recognize colors, and develop pre-writing abilities. They create an "All About Me" book and practice cooperative play, communication, and independence. Our learning centers refine fundamental skills, and we align our program with state preschool standards and local kindergarten expectations. Attending three or four times a week is recommended.

Student-Teacher ratio 10:1. Maximum class size is 18.

This class meets two or three times a week: Monday-Wednesday or Tuesday-Thursday mornings/afternoons. A three-day program adds Fridays, and a four-day program includes all extra-curricular classes: Exploring the Arts, Counting on Math, Discovery Play, and Stepping into Reading. There may be a different Friday teacher. The two-day program offers fundamental skills in engaging sessions.
